Enable Automatic Synchronization

Type — Toggle (ENABLED / DISABLED)

Controls whether the POS automatically synchronizes data with the backend server at regular intervals.

Enabled (ON)

The system automatically triggers background synchronization tasks.

Data synchronized without manual intervention:

  • Sales
  • Inventory updates
  • Configuration changes

This reduces the risk of unsynchronized or pending data.

Disabled (OFF)
  • Automatic background synchronization is stopped.
  • Synchronization operations must be triggered manually (e.g., "Sync Data" action).
  • Useful in environments with unstable or limited internet connectivity.
Impact on User Interface and System
  • No immediate visual change beyond the toggle state.
  • The background synchronization scheduler is enabled or disabled accordingly.
  • Does not delete or modify existing data.

Typical Use Case: Enabled: Stable internet, real-time data consistency   |   Disabled: Offline operation or controlled/manual synchronization
